Mayweather-Pacquiao in Jeopardy Over Drug Test - Merged Thread:

I don't know whats worse, Pacman refusing to take Olympic styled blood tests or the *******s in here trying to defend it. If he is clean, then take the damn test and let the one of the biggest fights in history happen.
There is no excuse for not being willing take a simple blood test for the benefit of both fighters. Its absurd.

It amazes me how Manny P. fans flipped the script and now are blaming Mayweather for being scared.
If the tables were turned and he didn't want to take a drug test most Manny P. fans would still say he was scared. The guy is damned if he does, damned if he doesn't.
Regardless of the fact that blood testing through training camp is setting a new standard, its not THAT big of a deal. If anything this should have been Manny P's, chance to silence all of the people like Malignaggi who were sure that Manny P was juicing. Now all this is going to do is raise more question's and su****ion. Somehow the Pacquiao camp has made "Crackhead Sr." look like genius.

Man up and reason with the situation. Taking a ****** drug test is NOT that big of a deal unless you have something to hide.
I hope as it reads that its not Pac himself and its just a misscommunication. I like Pac but this is a ***** move...
Although Pac will have two excuses now.
1. "Pac was not ready for a fighter like Mayweather"
2. He wasnt allowd to take his drugs so it wasnt fair....
anything else used will not be accepted.
On the flipside of things if the Mayweather's are in fact trying to make Pac look like the bad guy they're doing an ok job as of now. Both guys are greats but I like Mayweather "acting" the role of the bad guy not Pac.
i don't see this as "trying to hide something" as some of you states. that would be pointless. if he was cheating, they will find out eventually.
boxers aren't even required to undergo such tests. then manny should undergo it cause they say so? who the fuck are they?
manny's camp is not at fault here. taking the tests AFTER the fight and 30 days before is a reasonable compromise if you ask me. he already agreed to the random urine tests, but refused to give blood. it isn't that big of a deal at all, and won't affect the results of the tests.
with all that said, i think this will eventually be worked over and the fight would continue as planned.

Of course Pac wouldnt ask for this test. Mayweather's are knocwn to cause drama. Even if this is all just talk and Pac isnt taking anything I would laugh my ass off. Its all to hype and sell. Who really cares? Either way they make money. The Mayweather camp is laughing there way to the bank while posters flip out and Pacs camp gets pissed (more so Roach). Its mind games and Mayweather has the advantage.
I doubt you get paid by these guys. They make so much money why would I care what tests are given? They get OVER paid for this. I dont feel bad for any of them. Take the damn test and collect the millions. Like I said its all hype and I love it. This is what boxing is all about. The camps need to dislike each other, it sells. Mayweather is the best salesmen in boxing today. Tyson was before him and Ali before him....... Its all about cash money at the end of the day...Money first, not the fans.

The issue right now is basically that Mayweather's camp want to run this show in regards to the Olympic drug test without any compromises. Roach is willing to get the Olympic drug test done after the fight and before the press conference, i don't see anything wrong with that, fair and honest. Now you're telling me that Roach even agreed to 1 week before the fight, so what's the ****ing problem.
BTW, can you post the link to that article where Roach said that. Thanks.

taking the test before the fight would however affect him at the very least mentally. i think its unfair for him to be put in such a position where it seems like he is hiding something where in fact, what he is demanding is reasonable, where floyd's camp are not.

It should be.....i just keep thinking, if a baseball player is willing to take HGH to hit a ball farther or train harder, why in da h*ll would a boxer not take HGH for more KO power?
Urine test are not good enough for a brutal sport like boxing!
