some of you guys are missing the point. I'm not saying He will slow down the whole fight. I just see it as a tactic from the pac team so floyd doesn't have the chance to map out a game plan against pac.

He doesn't even have to start slow. Hell he could go out and start throwing 10 bombs at a time to shock floyd lol.. then slow down the next round. Point is, don't keep the same pattern for for floyd to figure out. with all this talk of floyd being a smart boxer (which i totally agree with). I think this would actually work.

he should go fast in the 1st few rounds and keep it up UNTIL floyd adjusts.

then he changes up the gameplan.

mayweather starts off slow. no point in not taking the first 2-3 rounds if he can just from sheer aggression.

To be honest with you I don't think pac ever goes in the ring and consciously thinks about starting fast and putting the pressure on, that is just the pace he fights, and if he catches you he will go for it, thats what I love about him, I think thats what everybody loves about him.

Against hatton he was actually pretty cagey, until he hurt him with a counter right hook then he started throwing the leather, against cotto he boxed and cotto did well in the first but had trouble matching pac workrate and tempo in the 2nd. He just has a killer instinct the likes of which I haven't seen since a prime tyson

Bad move, that's not Manny's style. He just needs to stay aggressive and try to break down Floyd's D. If he tries to be too cute, he'll get countered to death which will lead to a UD win for Floyd. He needs to push and catch Floyd with his combos. He's quick enough to throw and get out of the way. He's obviously not gonna be as successful as he was against his past opponents, but I also don't think Floyd will be as successful countering. If he doesn't score a KD or at least hurt Floyd in the early rounds, he'll be in for some serious trouble.

Pac/Roach obviously know they can't go in there throwing bombs.
pac gotta throw a lot of punches from 1 to 12.... that's all I'm saying
