    People should appreciate Vitali more

I know he was a bit frustrated by Johnson last night, but he dominated the entire fight and did it impressively. Johnson was making it tough for Vitali to really hit him flush, but Vitali had a great effort.

He threw over 1000 punches, which is incredible for a HW, no matter what the circumstances. He landed over 50% of his power shots. He pressed the fight. He made the fight. Johnson killed it.

As an American I was disappointed with Johnson last night. He clearly had the skill to hang competitively with Vitali, he just didn't take the risks that someone like Arreola is willing to take. If only Arreola had the skills and dedication that Johnson has. If only Johnson had the fearless and all out mentality that Arreola has.

    Very nice win for Vitali.

Yesterday, Vitali set a record for the most jabs thrown in a heavyweight fight.

And Vitali has amazing stamina: he threw the most punches, over 100, in each of the final three rounds.

The only thing that concerns me is the cutting and swelling. But I guess if he's gotten this far, it's not a huge issue.

1000+ punches from a 38 year old heavyweight is unheard of..only bitter americans are dissing vitali..why?? i dont know..im american born and raised..but im a boxing fan..not a nationalist...vitali is the truth..johnson is an utter joke and should give vitali his check..because without vitali there would have been no fight....

Agree completely. Vitali went looking for Johnson from the start backing him against the ropes and trying to make it a fight. He was doing his best to KO him in the late rounds. It would have been a great scrap if Johnson opened up and went for it.

i feel sorry for vitaly that he has no opponents to fight, and the one that could pose a threat to him (haye) he don't wanna fight.
