Juan Diaz out,Still Ordering that ESPN PPV?

Now that Juan DIaz is out you still gonna order that espn PPV,i know theres other good fights on there, but this was the one i was looking forward to the most.

    heres the article btw.

"April 16, 2005 - **********.com has been informed that undefeated WBA lightweight titlist Juan "The Baby Bull" Diaz suffered a cut over his left eye in sparring earlier today. Diaz was scheduled to defend his title against Ebo Elder as part of ESPN's stellar pay-per-view show just one week from today. Diaz's trainer Ronnie Shields has confirmed to ********** that the cut required stitches and the fight is definitely OFF. REMEMBER WHERE YOU HEARD IT FIRST! (4:30 PM ET) Update: Undefeated bantamweight Raul Martinez has been inserted into the opening television slot for the April 23 ESPN pay-per-view fight card from Caesars Palace, it was announced today by Main Events CEO Kathy Duva. Martinez will challenge Larry Olvera (5-3-2, 4 KO’s) in a six round bout, which was selected for the broadcast following the cancellation of the Diaz-Elder WBA world championship contest due to a cut suffered by Diaz in sparring."

The card wasn't worth 10 cents WITH Diaz-Elder, now it's barely worth a penny....c'mon guys, 2 complete mismatches and a Boxing After Dark-style main event, being shown on pay-per-view?!?! Let me save everyone the trouble: Mosley UD, Brock UD, and Cintron by a controversial SpD (it's a Main Events card, NO WAY that Margarito wins any close rounds)

I think its still a good card, but like I have said before I am saving my money for Gatti/Mayweather and Trinidad/Wright.

Yeah I'm still gonna order the fight. I'm looking forward to watching the Margarito - Cintron fight. Cintron is one of the top two current Puerto Rican fighters (him and Cotto) and Margarito is a tough Mexican WBO champ that has a really high punch output. He's fearless and gets busy. Hopefully Cintron won't run around and will get down and dirty to make this an exciting fight. From what I've read, Cintron took it to his last opponent who had decent punching power. I wanna see him try that against Margarito. It should be a good fight. Whoever wins this fight is gonna be propelled to superstar level and both of these fighters know it. A lot is riding on this fight.

I was looking forward to watching the Diaz title fight too but now I'm looking forward to watching my hometown prosepect from San Antonio, Raul Martinez, who's fighting instead.

That's good ESPN is getting in the mix with pay per view fights. The more competition for pay per view dollars, the better for the viewers. It means cheaper PPV fights with good matchups.
