The speedy guys who could move in and out on Toney while throwing combinations always gave Toney trouble like Jones and Nunn did, Byrd is also a southpaw like Nunn. I think this would've been a close decision like several of Byrd's fights that could go either way.

      i don't know.

byrd really destroyed his body trying to drop back to 175.

not that toney is in a much better condition.

It could still be an ok fight.....if they both come in at the low 200s, they are both old and way past their best so it evens out.

          i'd rather see tua-toney.

it could be really , really boring or really , really exciting.

Byrd needs to stay retired (if he is). his brother Patrick can barely put a sentence together and I dont know if its from those Byrd family basement fights or what be when he worked at Meijer he was in bad shape. he was actually banned from using the PA system. I dont wanna see that happen to Byrd cause he's a good guy.

Fat Toney is very overrated and has been out boxed many times.Chris Byrd may not be the most natural heavyweight of all time, but atleast he wasn't a complete slob like Toney.Chris Byrd schools him in route to a rather easy decision.
