Floyd trys to make every boxer the same. I dont think he'd work as a boxer like RJJ or ali . Im sure he's good on the pads though, but his style just doesnt fit everyone.

That said, Roach is good at developing boxers to their strengths. He understands the importance of gameplans, and exposing weakness' of his boxers opponents. He's almost like a bill bellichek in the film room. His boxers are always prepared, and If im preparing for a fight, Id want Roach

i'm sorry but anyone who picked freddie roach is an idiot!

/just read the thread and now i feel like an idiot.. i still pick floyd sr though because he knows **** roach doesnt

it's hard not to be biased with this one. i see freddie as someone who would give less criticism and be nicer .. and i dont want a nice trainer thats gonna tell me how good i am. i want a trainer that will push me

Why? The question should be why not? Freddie may not talk all that great either but at least he gives a piss about a fighter he trains. The Mayweathers only care about themselves.

i would pick roach, unless i was physcially blessed with rare speed reflexes n athletic ability...then i think floyd sr could take me to a level that roach couldnt....wit that being said..yes floyd senior can only fully develop fighters cut from the same cloth..but in reality, almost all fighters are different n u have to be able to develop them all according to their own personal strength, the the styles that suit those strengths..........just for the record, my favorite trainers are ****m richardson n barry hunter....i also love the cerebral approach of teddy atlas....
