What's the odds on brockman winning? Thurman must have a mountain of ring rust to shake off. Timing won't be as good. Cardio wont be as good. He'll be more injury prone. And then you have Jet lag - it's real as I know at moment. Plus suspect decisio s PAC Vs Horn anyone?

He was out nearly 3 years when he fought Barrios and won comfortably. Same Barrios was am ex champ and a current 147 champ. He should be winning this comfortably even with his time off
Liam Paro, who isnt exactly Jeff Fenech, nearly decapitated Jarvis in a round...if Keith gets extended in this one, even with his layoff, he should look at doing something else, it isnt like he is a big name now.

Thurman has a deal in place to face Tszyu next if he wins.
Keef is off the couch and chasing a bag because his lovely Indian wife ran through the Pacquiao bag. After he gets past the Aussie soda can, he'll start howling for Tszyu next. There's money to be made Down Under, easy money.

This is my thoughts as to why they got Keith in there with Jarvis. If he can't beat Jarvis, there is really no need to continue talking about Thurman's future in boxing. He has a dude that can be taken out at probably any moment, but if Keith can't get the job done or looks terrible in doing so, I'm not sure who would care to continue watching Thurman. Hell, even a fight against Tszyu wouldn't make much sense.
The one-round KO loss was one thing but then he fought a club fighter and Brock's legs were doing a huge funny dance like Bambi on ice. No confidence in his chin. But would love it if he could ice Thurman but don't see that.
