Comments Thread For: Forget Five Guys, Derek Chisora has only three guys in mind for fight 50

After beating Otto Wallin on Saturday in Manchester, Derek Chisora took control of the microphone following his post-fight interview and attempted to do the same with his career, or at least what remains of it, writes Elliot Worsell

Heck, I like AJ-Chisora. It’s a huge fight, and yeah Chisora is old, but he’s only 5 years older than AJ, and AJ is coming off a devastating loss and his confidence is low, Chisora is on a winning streak, so it’s actually a fair fight.

Him vs Zhang or Agit would be all action. He would lose, but it would be entertaining as hell.

I am ok with all those names but Dubois/Parker winner gets Usyk. Chisora/Joshua in the UK if Fury doesn’t take the Joshua fight next.

Del Boy going out with a fat check to end it would be cool. If he were to win that would put him near the top… Del Boy has lost to Fury 3 times & Parker twice. He lost to Kabayel & Usyk.

He doesn’t have many guys currently near the top that haven’t beaten him . Dubois & Joshua are 2 he hasn’t fought. They are the logical 2 being from the UK but Usyk, Dubois & Parker have bigger fish to fry so Joshua makes sense to me but would he settle for Whyte? Would he wait on the side lines for #50?

Agit outboxed Chisora for a UD but it was Del Boy who got the big fights…

Chisora is well way more shopworn than AJ will ever be
That said , I really enjoy Del Boy’s fights but don’t wanna see him become punch drunk which his style will cause that to be

As much as I enjoy his fights , I’d rather he retires with all his marbles

Agit was an unknown thought to be European level so Chisora fought him in Monte Carlo I believe. Agit never capitalized on that win. Signed with Top Rank & I don’t think he even got a fight under their banner. He stopped Makhmudov then Sanchez who were 2 interesting looking HWs. If he beats Zhang that would be an impressive group of names on his resume. It’s crazy that 41 year olds are still fringe contenders.
