The current version of Wilder ? Nahhhhh... They all know the recipe now... Negate that right hand and look at him being completely lost in the Ring until the opportunity comes...

If the rumors are true. Then, I have but one request for Deontay Wilder. Please fire Malik Scott as your head trainer. He is both lousy and horrible as a boxing coach.
You don't have to remove him from your camp but just don't have him in your corner as the chief second. You have regressed badly since he started training you.
You have lost both your self-confidence, hunger and desire since he has taken over the helm as lead coach. You are not a fight off the back foot type of boxer. You are a slugger who likes to hit.
Please bring back Mark Breland. So he can help teach you how to throw and land that right hand again. The boxing public would like to see the old Deontay Wilder back; Well at least I do.

Who knows? If Wilder could string along at least a good three or four knockout outings; With Fury retiring, we just may get our dream fight between Joshua and Wilder after all.

Right now, Wilder seems to be depressed. He no longer believes in himself or his punching power. Therefore, he needs to hire the right coach or trainer to help bring that confidence back.
Fighting off the back foot; Man that is not his thing. Fans are fascinating by Wilders punching power. They want to see him hit not run.FlyingFJ likes this.

He’s never been a big punch output guy, but man. He’s just afraid to throw the right. Explosiveness is gone and that was really all he had.
Honestly, if Curtis initiates the exchanges and doesn’t allow Wilder to get off first, he could win against this suuuuper gun shy Wilder.
He is a slugger who loves to hit. Malik Scott was the one who helped ruin this guy's confidence in by not letting let his hands go. He wasn't like that with Mark Breland.FlyingFJ likes this.

BUM SQUAD! He literally built his reputation as the heaviest hitter in boxing against this level of fighter. As soon as he started fighting guys with any skill, the knockouts stopped coming.BoxOfficer
