transform Riyadh into the capital of boxing
They came in with the stream thing, didn't really do as well as expected, brought PPV into it and then got bad reviews but now looking like they'll be on top. Turki coming into boxing has also helped them as Saudi is now funding big fights.
DAZN have managed to take the biggest promoters in the UK from the 2 biggest networks in the UK. Eddie moved over from Sky, Frank has signed with them and Queensbury fights will be DAZN later in the year. From the US, they have Goldenboy on DAZN.
I'm not sure PBC on Amazon will take off as expected, and Top Rank will change as Arums in his 90s he can't be the face for their company forever. Their ESPN deal reportedly ends in August 2025, wouldn't be surprised to see them sign with DAZN later in the year

It's cause, like everything good, it comes to an end, or it gets all used up. They squeezed all they could out of the format. Boxing has moved on to new avenues and HBO/Showtime felt they were left behind. Let's appreciate what they did, but let's also celebrate the new and innovation if there is to be had.
Turki is basically giving a middle finger to everyone that dragged their feet to make good fights by just throwing FU type of money to the fighters and promoters. It kind of sucks because at the end, they get more than they probably should and it ruins the long run of the sport by over paying for fights, but it also gets us, the fights... I'm not sure how long it'll last, but let's enjoy it while it continues to happen.

He brought but nothing new to the game besides an abundance of coin making it easier to make the harder ( $$$ ) fights
