Make PPVs cheap, reliable and too convenient compared to dodgy streams. That’s how Netflix won over many people who used to torrent films and tv shows.
$60 is too much for one event where the undercard is weak and the main card might not deliver.
Another sorry fight on PPV. If I'm not able to see it at my local sports bar for $15, I won't be seeing it. I refuse to pay more to see a fight that I didn't ask as a fan to be made.
I can't get my head around the idea that the Superbowl, Stanley cup final etc, etc,etc are not PPV. But in boxing a run of the mill fight should be at an exorbitant PPV price in the mind of Bob Arum and others. Get your act together and get sponsors and sell seats like all the other sports do. In my view it would be impossible to be a boxing fan and see most of the fights without "stealing" PPVs.
So, if PPV's are well policed I will just quit watching. That would be cutting off your nose to spite your face Mr Arum.
teo was on some show a few months ago & he said the top hes made for a fight is 800 grand, hhhhmmm, is he taling after tax im sure he is, & after hes paid his trainer gym etc, i think i heard himk say he gets 2 mil a fight from arum another time, i mean arum offered shakur 3 mil a fight 5 fight deal i think
