Can someone explain to me how is that Rafael Espinoza vs Robeisy Ramirez isn't the main event? I love Navarrete and he and Valdez are both action fighters but I think they both are trending down while Espinoza and Robeisy are trending up and on top of that, they bring as much if not more action to the ring and the skill level is superior.

But I understand, maybe it all has to do with Valdez being the biggest draw of the card.

Westerners, particularly Americans, care progressively less the lighter the weight division. I personally think it's ******, but there's so many people who keep saying "Inoue needs to fight in the US to be a big star" as if he hasn't already done so 3 times, and is already making more money in Japan than Tank Davis does here, drawing more eyes worldwide than Tank, Crawford, Haney, Shakur, etc.

Once you drop below junior lightweight, there's this pervasive perception that the fighters are nobodies. People are missing out, but what can you do?

Tim Bradley just compared this guy to Bam? Bam was always on balance at this point in his career. Navarro fell off balance twice in 30 seconds after that comment. Staying on balance, especially in a really young fighter, is a huge deal.
