Nobody in America cares about anyone in his stable. Boxing popularity fell off in America. They need someone who knows how to build grass roots in America and create a new American star. One thing you're right about is nobody in America cares about his (or any UK promoter) stable. But where you're wrong is that American boxing is on life support. If it was on life support and no one cared then we wouldn't have promoters from all over the world desperately trying to break into the US market. Eddie Hearn came with a Russian war chest of 2 billion dollars and failed not because the Americans didn't want to see boxing but he failed because HE is incompetent! Prince Turki-boy promise to fund boxing with the entire sovereign fund of 'the Kingdom'. But after one disastrous show in L.A. they pulled the plug on him quick. He may be a Prince but he ain't no King!
