"On 20 September 2023, Polish Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki announced that Poland would not supply weapons to Ukraine other than those previously agreed, amid tensions between the two countries over the Polish import ban on Ukrainian grain after cheap Ukrainian grain which was meant to be exported through Poland"

I've also read that Poland is looking to take some Ukrainian land when the Russo-Ukraine war ends. Poland probably isn't too happy that Stepan Bandera is so celebrated by Ukraine. He was a N a zi collaborator and killed a whole bunch of Poles during WWII.

Oleksandr Usyk was arrested for a robbery that took place May 18, 2024. Usyk was going straight to court and facing years imprisonment, however, a last-minute phone call from his victim, Tyson Fury, pleading for them to free him, and that he forgives Usyk, solved issues. Tyson, a man who donated his entire Wilder 2 purse and always a man of his word saved the day for Usyk. Tyson said 'Whilst Usyk is a criminal, he is also a great man and tremendous fighter. The world needs the rematch and that can't take place with Oleksandr behind bars. I'm the people's champion and Oleksandr is a person. Get on!" Cash in - His Excellency

He was drunk and started a fight on the plane. Zelenskyy then used American aid money to have him released. #freeusyk #freethechamp

“Dear Friends: A misunderstanding took place. It was quickly resolved. Thanks to all who got concerned. Thanks to Ukrainian diplomats for the efficient support,” Usyk wrote in a statement sent to BoxingScene and other news outlets by his manager, Egis Klimas.

Misunderstanding? Did they think he was going to the UK to beat up AJ and Dubois again until it was clarified that he was just there to watch the match?

wish there were more details. people dont get arrested for misunderstandings, they get arrested for su****ion of crimes. what crime was Usyk suspected of?

seems kind of shady on Usyks part, if he did nothing wrong why does his team not release the full details, why are they trying to sweep it under the rug? sounds like they will get with a PR firm to carefully craft some statement.

Greedy belly clearly got one of his Gypsy **** to plant Usyk’s hand luggage with a su****ious substance that would have had him remanded in a polish cage until next year at a minimum.

Giving him a free pass from the unbearable season’s beating he is about receive in the rematch and getting the Ngannou rematch in the works instead.
