Manny Pacquiao's world title shot against Mario Barrios has possibly gone up in smoke after his exhibition bout with Rukiya Anpo.

Old fighters never stand a chance. It's weird people think they do. Like when people were picking Mike Tyson to beat Jake Paul - when he looked poor in his final fights 20 years ago. This is why they retired
There's no way Pacquiao should have been gifted an opportunity to fight for a world title at this stage of his career, but we've come to expect ******ity like this from the WBC.
Pacquiao is definitely not the same but it wasn’t that bad. Pacquiao started landing vicious uppercuts in rd 3 and getting the timing right, getting under shots. Many Anpo’s shots were not landing flush, and not with a lot of power. If it had gone more than 3, I could see Pacquiao start to break him down. Plus, needless to say, a Pacquiao ready for a boxing return would be much more prepared than what we saw tonight.
Manny is very delusional. HE looked horrible and will get hurt. He was off balance, he was complaining on every body shots etc. He should stay retired but of course he probably spent wayyyy too much on an unwinnable president election. He will probably try it again and lose again.
Any pro (I don't care who they are) can lose a 2min x 3rd fight. There are elite amatuer kids thatll box circles around top 10 pros for 3x2min rds.
Pro boxing is a war of attrition. Guys like Michael Conlan and Luke Campbell are perfect examples of guys that can beat anyone for 3rds but once it goes into deeper water, they drown.

I agree with you.
Pacquiao actually did very good on this match and he started putting out more precise counters near the end of round 3, no doubt with more rounds, he could have won the fight, BUT the bigger problem remains, Manny like in the Ugas fight 2 years ago, his footwork isn't there anymore and he gets tagged easily, which isn't good for his age.
