I think a lifetime ban is excessive.

The fact he came in over and then tested positive for PED’s warrants a 2 year ban, forfeiture of his purse, and changing the win to an NC.

Bill Haney should also be given a lifetime ban from training boxers. How utterly dumb to have his son engage in a fight with Ryan while moving right into the hook instead of his jab and boxing skills. Bill must have the IQ of an ant to have such a flawed fight plan. Haney needs a real trainer who capitalized on Devins strengths. Also, Devin would benefit from using Velcro to keep his chin attached to his chest. Devin just can’t take a shot to his Jell-O jaw.

It was fine to rehydrate illegally from 140 to 165 several times when in fact rehydrating from 140 the legal cut off is 161 and thats being very generous and would be an extremely rare natural rehydration

The fight, if you minus the knockdowns, would have be close. However, Haney did take some punishment which might do future damage; however, we can't disregard the fact that Garcia turns up positive for banned substance. The thing is banned for a reason, and sometimes the small amount means Garcia didn't cycled off properly.

Haney has a right to be outraged for Ryan's antics, not making weight & doping too. Ryan is a primadonna who needs to be disciplined and disqualified if he can't or won't make weight. Fighters should not accept fights if they know they can't make weight.
