Plant-Charlo surpasses Taylor-Catterall when it comes to real pressure. Plant smacked the taste out Charlo's mouth and that smack was heard all across the world. That is a fight that will definitely attract a ton of attention based on that alone, plus being a really good matchup between two of the biggest names in the sport. No reason that fight shouldn't happen sometime in the near future.

The animosity between Charlo & Plant is real & I'd also love to see them get it on.

I respectfully disagree that it's more intense than Taylor & Catterall, however, because one slap & some verbals does not equate to or surpass one massively controversial undisputed world title fight (also witnessed on a global scale) followed by two years of bitter insults, strangulation attempts (lol), nipple cripples (lol) & iirc a slap as well.

Lol. I understand. The thing is is that Catterall and Taylor have had their issues within the fight promotion so it comes with that territory. Plant and Charlo got personal outside of the ring(Charlo allegedly grabbed Plant's beard multiple times) which is why I hold it to a higher regard bc it had nothing to do with them actually fighting each other. But I get your POV tho, especially with the history between these two and the stakes on the line for both of em. All in all, sometimes, genuine bad blood in these types of rivalries is needed to drum up real interest from casual fans for these big fights.

They are on an island. Who else are they going to fight? This thing marinated for two years, it's down to a lower intensity than this guy thinks.

Bear in mind that Josh Taylor didn't do anything illegal. It's the judges that made the decision, yet they went unscathed and still allowed to judge. That's why fans need to take this issue about robbing victories off of deserving fighters is criminal to me. These judges should be dealt with harshly. And I'm not even a fan of Catterall's style of boxing.

There's one good reason - Charlo is just lost as a person - depressed, fughed up, ..... maybe when he gets low on funds in a few years when nobody wants it anymore

Never been a fan of the way the Charlos conduct themselves most of the time, but seeing the downward spiral of the bigger Charlo is just sad to see. From what's been seen, his personal life seems to be a total disaster atm and he is an obvious case of somebody who has not been right in the head at all for quite some time bc of it. Hopefully he can get his ish together somehow, get his love for boxing back, and get back in the ring. He's too talented to be wasting away like this.
