Goodman is a decent fighter, but the bit I've seen with the level of competition he's been in with, don't see him being competitive with Inoue. Inoue had his issues with Nery bc he is a southpaw and a big puncher, yet still found a way to batter and destroy him. Goodman is neither of those things and is not on the same level as Nery. Might be a fun one tho.

Well he's hardly going to say "I'm not really qualified and I'm only in this position due to the divisional dilution created by there being four belts in each weight class".

He beat Doheny and Aleem and he's ranked by both the TBRB and The Ring in the top 5. I'd rather see Inoue fight MJ next myself, but it's not like Goodman is a no-hoper like when Arum had him fighting Dasmarinas or Dipaen.

This would at least be an interesting fight. Goodman has very good technical skills. Hes an upright fighter with a long fast solid jab and excellent footwork similar to Naoya's. I still think its a bit too soon for the Aussie but he'd be crazy to turn down such a big payday.

Goodman's world class, maybe not elite just yet but definitely worthy of a shot. More so than quite a few of Naoya's past opponents

Inoue by manslaughter. Goodman is decent fighter but no way is he lasting over 8 rounds.

Nery saw enough to dethrone Inoue, also just like Goodman claims, but wound up getting viciously knocked out in the sixth round.
Nery is a damn good fighter in his own right, but he's cheated in this sport, failing a banned substance test, and failing to make weight.
He was paid back in spades by Inoue, for breaking both of those regulations against Yamanaka, one of Inoue's countrymen.

He has seen enough to know how his central nervous system will handle buckshot? Sorry friend - you don't know how those shots will impact you until they have already studdered your consciousness

Casimero v Inoue in a neutral ground outside of Japan is the only way
