All my guys who work with me and are in tested competition, I tell them to steer clear of over the counter stuff, because you just don't know what's in them.
You want a sure fire way to avoid contamination? Don't take the supplement. It's not worth it for the positive effect you get from them, which realistically, is not that much all things considered. The risk/reward ratio is low.
