Comments Thread For: Eddie Hearn: That Could Be End Of The Road For [John Ryder]; A Decision To Make, For Sure

John Ryder never arrived at their post-fight press conference Saturday night after his ninth-round, technical-knockout loss to Jaime Munguia. An Arizona commission physician recommended Ryder remain in his dressing room, rather than answering questions

Law of averages says Hearn has got to pick a winner soon but when he's blinded by his fighters he's just going to continue to be laughed at.

He has to be one of the most well paid journeymen in boxing history. Eddie Hearn definitely helped his felkow countrymen. Guy made it into fights with talent level he never should have been in with at the championship level

Wouldn't say he was a journeyman I'd say more fringe world level/gatekeeper type fighter. Good fighter just not top level but he should of been a world champion because he should of got the nod against smith when they fought. But non the less he's earned his money over the years guys been in some tough tough fights

It sounds like Ryder is financially set. He should probably get out now , he's never going to get another big payday ,or win a title , so there's no point in continuing. Go enjoy that hard earned post boxing life.

Ryder is a bum and Jamie did what he was supposed to do. Jamie needs to earn a Canelo fight. 43 fights and this supposedly your best win? GTFOH BUM

Oldskoolg Makaveli7 Journeymen and Bums aren't proven top 10 World level fighters in their weightclass, with wins over the likes of Danny Jacobs. Should have been world champ cause he beat Callum Smith. Gave a courageous performance against Alvarez winning some rounds late. He definitely aint no bum or journeyman.

Stick yourselves in the ring with Ryder you would get KO'd in 1 round with ease, then we'd see who the bum is. LDBC trolls go watch your Dontae videos

Wouldn't blame him if he retired. He's been in two punishing fights in a row. If he has the money to retire comfortably, he should do so while his faculties are still intact.

I could have told Hearn that before the Munguia fight. Hearn only has AJ who is his golden goose. But that golden goose has lost his wings. DAZN has been losing billions since Hearn became their go to promoter. Hearn is desperately trying to stay relevant because the DAZN money tree is on life support. The Hearn/Warren revived friendship is BS. Together they have teamed up to pick the Saudi’s pockets.
