Of course they get credit. People often change their narrative based on the result, instead of just giving the winner the credit they deserve.

Errol Spence was a great win for Crawford, he was undefeated world champion who looked great against Ugas in his previous fight.
Spence had been complaining for at least 5 years about the challenges of making 147.

He was out 16 months before climbing into the ring against Crawford.

Spence looked like a corpse coming into the ring. Compare the faces of the Crawford and the Ugas fight and you'll see that Spence was badly drawn and drained.

How did a bunch of shot and B/C fighters do better than Spence? Spence was getting hurt by every single shot and he was dropped by a jab to the neck. He had almost no punch resistance and his face was falling apart by the third round and the doctor was checking on him. Spence was in bad shape before he even climbed through the ropes.

I don't think any version of Spence beats Crawford, BTW. But a healthy Spence doesn't get destroyed the way he does.

As I said, please link us to your post stating this before the fight…

Barely anybody was saying this pre-fight, then after Crawford dominates Spence, he’s suddenly some frail corpse.

I was actually at the weigh in and the fight and I thought Spence looked in great shape. He’s always been big for 147, he’s always had to cut a lot of weight to make the 147 limit. It’s like saying Hearns was a corpse against Leonard- modern fans probably would tbf.

Look, nobody is hating calzage, or bud, if they say Lacy, or spence isn't as good as we thought they were.
Calzaghe and bud get credit for win just in hindsight more perspective is used

Spence is a hell of a lot more proven than Lacy was though. I don’t think anybody can doubt Spence’s ability or calibre.

Complete revisionist bull****. All fight week all of you Errol***uals were talking about how great he looked, best weight cut of his life, hired a nutritionist.

              Then we get

              That wasn't the REAL FULTON
              That wasn't the REAL SPENCE
              That wasn't the REAL CHARLO

You want to compare to the Ugas fight? Fine by me.

It was always the same Spence.

Went life and death with Porter.

                Ocampo absolutely sucks.

Danny was had no success at 147.

Ugas was beaten up by an ancient Pac in his fight before.

                Brook was a good win.

Even Brook was dropping back down to welterweight from middleweight after having his face broken by GGG.

These guys sit on their ass for 18 months between fights, blow up and then fight no hopers on Showtime and the Twitter universe calls them P4P fighters. Once they finally step out from their protection, suddenly "That wasn't them!"
