Comments Thread For: Conor Benn Made To Work Hard, Decisions a Durable Rodolfo Orozco

ORLANDO - Conor Benn ended the longest layoff and most troubling portion with a win over a game opponent. The second-generation English boxer pounded out a dominant ten-round, unanimous decision over a brave Rodolfo Orozco. Scores of 99-91, 99-91 and a surprisingly close 96-94 went in favor of Benn in just his second stateside fight in their DAZN-aired co-feature Saturday from Caribe Royale Orlando in Orlando, Florida.

So no more flattening otherwise durable opposition with one shot in the early rounds? Hmmmmm, looking a bit shaky, Junior…

Not being a prisoner of the moment. But Benn doesn't have a prayer against Eubank. Hes still a solid fighter and talent. Lesser hype jobs would've capitulated against that big Mexican kid. But Conor should keep it fringe level for a while. Or European. He should fight the winner of Jon Miguez and Jerry Weiss for the European title.

For a guy that has been out for as long as he has, I was honestly impressed with Benn against a dangerous and stubborn opponent. I'll put my money on Benn against Eubank if/when they meet.

He should come fight Tom Zoo. His dad lives out here so a nice little catch up as well.
