Comments Thread For: De La Hoya on Crawford-Canelo: 'If That Fight Ever Happens, I Have to Go with Crawford'
Oscar De La Hoya doesn't think a Canelo Alvarez vs. Terence Crawford match-up is particularly far-fetched, at least from a competition standpoint.

It's only far fetched seemingly as Nell has did more, beat goliaths. But reality is Nell not a big man. It's just the illusion Nell is on another level to bud and beyond bud
“Oscar, rumor has it Canelo will face a random fan with no boxing experience for his next fight. How do you see the fight going?”
Oscar: we’ve all seen canelo is over the hill. I see the fan landing a devastating counter hook soon after the opening bell and Canelo quitting shortly after
No doubt someone must of shown Oscar the interview Canelo did on Breakfast club and how he said, you can't trust Oscar. Then Charlamagne said, even during their interview, it appeared like he's always lying and Canelo agreed. I mean, Canelo really put Oscar down in that interview, and just strayed away from getting into other people's business with Oscar (Ryan). You can tell Canelo doesn't believe Oscar is a trust worthy guy.
I'm somewhat shocked how low Oscar's gone. When he formed GBP, it was supposed to be the promotion company from a fighter for the fighters. That understood the business in how fighters got cheated or their careers ruined by other promotion companies and promoters that weren't fighters. Yet here is a fighter himself whose done basically the exact same to his own stable. It's so crazy how that works. Then again, I recall Richard Schaeffer had a big part in GBP success. I think once he left, the company went to ****.
