Dude brings that high school tough guy vibes to the boxing gyms, he has gotten into multiple arguments and slap fights with known fighters including the Benavidez brothers. Plant is far from that and gets love in the boxing community by his peers. He just gets under his opponents or threats skin by speaking the truth, that’s how the whole beef with him and the Benavidez started. Jose Benavidez got upset because Plant spoke about how much of an idiot he was by threatening to jump Plant and his team all because he got called out on his behavior.

David at the beginning of the beef was on Plant’s
side telling his bro to chill out and just train but then his pops got involved. Team Benavidez better hope that David doesn’t lose to Plant because it would show how much of bullies they were the whole time.
