What do you think Of Roaches "Floyd needs Pac" statement.

I think thats not true at all.

Floyd could fight Mosley, or even williams or pavlik.

Floyd and Pac could both benefit from fighting each other, but neither on NEEDS the other imo

yeah I think Roach wants the fight but does not wish to seem too eager. I don't understand how he figures Mayweather to take the small share though. 50/50. But that may go out the window if the numbers being reported are true from this past PPV.

they really dont...as what the TS said, Floyd has other options...although it would mean he would actually have to fight guys his own size, he does have options

as for PAC, he could have retired immediately after they peeled Hatton off the canvass and been set....legacy, money...done

they dont need each other but it would be nice for the sport to get that kind of spotlight and hype...it would be like the hype of DLH-PBF with the buzz (no hype needed) of Cotto-Margarito

At this point Floyd needs nobody on Earth except his Dad it seems.

Hence his recent interest in reconciling their relationship.

He can buy and sell Pacquiao on the street twenty times over.

          they don't need each other....

but its way to early to talk about pac/pbf when pac still has a fight in cotto

He is right, no one knows who Williams is, Mosley is not a draw and what weight would you think Pavlik vs Mayweather would be at?

If Pacquiao beats Cotto, PBF definitely needs Pac`s money drawing power and World Welterweight Crown which he currently doesn`t have. Pac can always unify with Mosley and add to his glory while PBF will continue to avoid such things.

I think he's lobbying for a better position at the negotiation table. But it shouldn't be looked to deeply into, what would you expect a trainer/mentor to say?

'Yeah, Floyd should get a much bigger share if we fight him. Definitely 70/30 in Floyd's favor'

The outcome of the fight in November will have more of an effect on negotiations than any of these little statements that you guys love to pick apart so much.

Pacman doesn't need pbf because his legacy are already secure even if he retire tomorrow he's already an atg. while needs to prove more by fighting the likes of mosley pacman, cotto, williams and other top welterweight to prove that he is among the ATG

Floyd wants Pacman because he feels he secures he's the best by beating him . He didn't come out of retirement to fight Mosley, Cotto or Marquez, but to fight the man people began to see as being better than him, but floyd doesn't fear Pacquiao unless pacquiao destroys cotto that might change.
