I see both, but weight being a more of a difference. I don't see a 135 pound Floyd doing that to a 135 Marquez.

What made Floyd win? His size or his Skills??

Last night was all about the speed and jab of Mayweather along with the defensive. Even if it was at 130 Mayweather would still be taller and his reach would still be longer and the fight would of been the same because the speed would still be there.
Now if Mayweather would of bullied Marquez to the ropes and just came forward and pressured Marquez then I would say his size would been the difference but even being the bigger man Mayweather didn't change a thing about his style.
The only way Marquez could of been in this fight is if Mayweather didn't have the speed that he has. Skillwise I think Marquez isn't that far away from Mayweather but the speed is what makes Mayweather even better.

the size issue was the big difference but not just for floyd because he was strong and didnt have to cut more weight than he wanted...but it was bigger for marquez because he had to come to a weight where he wasnt comfortable and he lost his speed his power wasnt a factor against the much bigger man....marquez had no chance at all and thats why floyd fought him....he proved that at welterweight he can beat a lightweight

Floyd has world class skills, there's no denying that. He's also one of the most well schooled fighters in the sport. But there's no doubt that PBF was significantly bigger and stronger than Marquez, and that made him that much more comfortable than he may have been against Mosley or Cotto. Marquez gave up his speed due to coming up so far in weight, and he's never been a truly huge puncher anyway, especially against a fighter that much larger than he was. All this said, I think he called PBF out so I guess you can't really blame PBF for taking a so called "gimme" fight like this whether or not he thought he could make 144 lbs. For the record, I was actually hoping JMM would make a fight of it, but at the opening bell the size difference was obvious and after a couple rounds I felt it was over.

JMM at welterweight made him very slow...it was like seeing him fight under water.....
try watching JMM's previous fights at featherweight and you will see the difference in speed....
PBF's left jabs were striking JMM like power punches.....
that is the difference between a blown up featherweight to a "small" welterweight who could not even weigh 144 lbs....
