I love how they have to fully label exactly what WBA belt is at stake. Is it interim? Is it super? Is it regular? Or is it the actual "world championship"? Hope news comes out soon how much money has changed hands for the WBA to slap their fake belts on Haymon's fake champs. Unless you are a Haymon hoe it's clear there needs to be an investigation between the 2. Going all the way back to when Haymon had the WBA take Rigo's belt because Leo was too scared to fight him, so he could fight Frampton for it instead. Lost all respect for him at that time.

At 130, there is only one WBA Champion! However, at 126, there are two, but the WBA has ordered LSC to fight Wood. At 135, there are 2, but they have NOT ordered Haney to fight Tank. At 140, there is NO Champion, but the WBA has ordered Akhmedov to fight Puello, and they will, on August 20th! At 147, there are 2, and they have NOT ordered Spence to fight Stanionis, so we can get Spence vs. Crawford, for all the belts! At 154, there is only one Champion! At 160, there are 2, but they have not ordered GGG to fight Lara, and GGG is NOT with Haymon! At 168 there are 2, but the WBA has NOT ordered Canelo to fight David Morrell Jr.! Canelo is NOT with Haymon! At CW there are 2, and the WBA has not ordered Goulamirian to fight Merhy. Neither fighter is with Haymon! At HW, there are 2. The WBA has NOT ordered Usyk to fight DuBois. Neither fighter is with Haymon! So unless you're a Haymon Hater, you can clearly see there's a WBA problem, and NOT a Haymon problem!

Let's analyze a bit closer? When they went on a stripping spree who was excluded from it? Porky. Still holds a fake belt to this day. A fake belt of his choosing by the way. LSC has not defended his belt since when? If no relation to Haymon that belt would have been stripped a long ago. They gotta try and keep up that they are legit so of course stars like Canelo or GGG are gonna avoid the axe. This goes back as I said to when Rigo was stripped so LSC could fight for a belt he was too cowardly to take from the real champ. When it comes to special favors the WBA certainly delivers for Haymon backed fighters. The fact is unavoidable.

I think the WBA ordered GGG to fight Lara within 120 days “if” he beats Canelo.

l could be wrong, but I thought I saw a article on here about it

Leigh Wood is not with Haymon. GGG is not with Haymon. Canelo is not with Haymon. Dubois is not with Haymon. Usyk is not with Haymon. Neither of the WBA CW Champions are with Haymon. So clearly the problem is BIGGER than Al Haymon and Tank! They were supposed to be getting rid of all these secondary titles, yet they keep creating more! Seems you're too focused on "Porky" to see the BIGGER picture!

They did, but they waited a long damn time to do so! Had they executed they're plan, like they said they would, Lara would not be a "Regular" Champion!

WBA eliminates all of its interim champion designations
              August 25, 2021

The WBA on Wednesday announced that it will eliminate all of its interim champion designations -- a move that will affect fighters like Daniel Dubois, Chris Eubank Jr., Rolando Romero and others.

WBA president Gilberto Mendoza had told ESPN Knockout earlier this month that this project was supposedly going to start in October. However, in recent days, the WBA has not sanctioned interim fights and has instead ordered unification fights between its champions.

"The plan is coming. We are not looking for popularity, but we are going to drastically reduce the number of titles," . "We are going to eliminate that flexibility that we had with the titles, little by little. ... We are going to review the division with multiple champions. It is something that the public has asked for, even if we are not 100% in agreement with that change. I feel that with more titles, we give more opportunities, but I understand that the public is very important."

Each fighter who is a WBA interim champion will be appointed as the mandatory challenger for the superior champion, although it will be done based on the number of champions in each division, according to an order the WBA Champions Committee will release soon.

At the moment, there are 10 WBA interim champions who will now, for the most part, become mandatory challengers: Dubois (heavyweight), Robin Krasniqi (light heavyweight), Eubank (middleweight), Alberto Puello (junior welterweight), Romero (lightweight), Chris Colbert (junior lightweight), Raeese Aleem (junior featherweight), Luis Concepcion (flyweight), Daniel Matellon (junior flyweight) and Erick Rosa (strawweight).

The move will help to strengthen the Gold belt, without the world champion designation. The Gold belt holder will occupy second place in the rankings and have a better chance to fight for the championship. This belt could be acquired through a tournament in which the highest qualifiers available, aside from the champion, will participate.
