Great to see more unification bouts than ever before-I think fighters are realizing that they're not going to get respect, pay-days, and legacy from doing what Jermell's brother is doing: taking the softest route possible to win a single belt, then fight once a year hoping a big money fight will come their way.

Dmitry Bivol (whom I have always respected as a great fighter) did exactly that as he won the WBA strap all the way back in 2016 then fought a steady stream of gatekeepers, and fringe contenders while maintaining all the time that he wanted to 'clean out' the division.

6 years of hanging on to one belt until Canelo came calling.

I'm not sure if the substantial number of undisputed champions is by design or accident, but it's a good thing.

Charlo deserves respect for taking on Castano a second time and doing exactly what he said he would.

I would love to see him fight Tim Tszyu or Madrimov in the next couple of years.

          Great fight.
What i want to say though is, isn't it great we're getting undesputed now so we have actual world champions & not b-list paper belt holder's.

            Castano a bum.

Who has he ever beaten? Charlo should have stopped him the first fight.

Castano did the dumbest thing by slugging with a bigger guy and paid the price. Should have boxed and had controlled aggression, simar to the first fight.
Castano wanted to knock Charlo out and ate too many bombs. Disregarded his defence.

              Dumb...

Now on to find the first undisputed in the four belt era at 135. Should be a good fight also. Bring it on. And hopefully at Heavy and welter also before the year is out.

Congratulations to Jermell. Made history as boxing's first ever undisputed super welterweight/ light middleweight champion of the world.

Thinking of other great super welterweights, Terry Norris and Julian Jackson, if not mistaken. Jackson was a helluva puncher and Norris was a great boxer near the top pound for pound.

Charlo has his flaws, but he's a fine fighter, top of the world. Tszyu and Fundora will challenge, and the likes of Crawford will come calling. I don't think he fights his friend Spence.

Middleweight is looking rather bare of talent at the moment, with GGG in the twilight of his career, and just his brother Charlo the other notable champ there.

Andrade seems to want to move up, so the middleweight division is there to be ruled for a long time, as Hagler, Hopkins and Golovkin did.

Castano fought at 20% compared to the first fight. Looked like the first left hook missed.

What could Castano do, he's got shorter reach, shorter and less powerful in terms of power punch. Never disregard how masterful Charlos jabs and Right hands were connecting! Charlo wanted it more and his body language was apparent.
