French BCOP won the purse bids in Rome for the right to stage the fight for the vacant EBU lightweight title between Yvan Mendy (46-5-1) and Gianluca Ceglia (16-3-1). The fight will go ahead in April with a date and site to be announced.

Hard to believe Mendy still motoring on with his career, also crazy that he's fighting for about $20k in this one.

That HW matchup between the 300lb German Granit Shala and the French fighter Benmakhlouf sounds interesting. The Frenchman is no easy pushover, wouldn't be surprised at an upset in that one.

Mendy should beat Ceglia and set up a good rematch with Tatli. I like Duhaupas at this stage for Zhan, curious to see how he does in that step up

The Koss dude blast out Dawejko in 2 so lets see if he can do the same to the 41 year old Retile. I was surprised to see Duhaupas at #27 on boxrec. Thought that was a little high at this point.
