It would not be a easy fight, but Amir Khan has the ability to beat Shawn Porter.
Porter was rough, durable and game. But he was not a precised puncher, he was not the type of fighter who was calculating with his offense.
Sometimes at times during Khan's career 'It was the calculating punchers, who where the only fighters to negate his speed'.
If a fighter went in there and tried to just bull Amir Khan, they would of been busted up real bad for as long as it lasted.
Overall, It is not definitive Khan can beat Porter, but he has a big chance 'Backed up by his past performances'.
Note: If people are honest with themselves, Danny Garcia, Canelo Alvarez could do nothing with Amir Khan. They could not deal with his speed. But they both realized eventually they would be able to time a mistake and capitalize. Alvarez for most of the rounds vs Amir Khan was being out boxed and could do nothing. And Danny Garcia just put his head down, throw a punch and hoped for the best 'He was being battered by Amir Khan'.
