This matchup sucks.

A similarly aged fighter, Munguia, is fighting a much tougher opponent in Rosado.

He even called out GGG at 160 a while ago.

Benavidez is calling out Middleweights like Charlo and thinks that because Canelo is much shorter, it means he can bully and beat Canelo. Wants nothing to do with anyone his size or anyone with power.

I think Benavidez gets hit too much to beat Canelo...but he would bring the pressure for as long as the fight lasts. He's for sure the most dangerous opponent available at 168.

David Benevidez has to be next for Canelo. I still think Canelo would win, but David would be the perfect sell. Scary looking dude. I think he's actually nicer than he looks, but damn, he gives off that Rocky villain vibes. This would be a huge build up seeing them face off. Can't think of anyone else that can match it. GGG is just too old now.

I hear that a lot but think its a myth. He has not been marked up in a single pro fight, and has a solid high guard defense so this notion he gets hit a lot is way off imo. Any punches he does take he just smiles and comes forward throwing more fire. This is a hell match up for Canelo and even he knows it.
