As to the rest of it there's some sorry mfers on here. I wouldn't waste your time. As soon as you see any of these threads about 'XXXX is a hypejob' you gotta understand you're not stepping into an objective discussion of a fighters accomplishments or abilities but merely someone's attempt to troll on a rival fanbase

Never been bowled over by Joshua myself but he fought who he had to and earned his spot at top 1 or 2 at heavyweight. Always thought the dude was a bit one dimensional... this generation's Frankie Bruno but pretty good at what he does backed up by size, strength and athleticism. In general no fighter deserves the most effusive of praise heaped on them by their most ardent fans and certainly none deserve the ridicule and distain of rival bases but objectively no one at heavyweight fought and beat more ranked fighters than Joshua, irrespective of his limitations. He deserves recognition for that IMO even though I was never much of a fan. Is what it is.
Not trolling at all. Just needs to be pointed out that AJ fans need to have a come to Jesus moment

A guy fights for the right to be a shot caller. If a guy can't seem to win fights on the road, he can always retire.
Dethrone the king and have fighters come to you.
Fury was always the man to beat at HW in this era, AJ probably 3rd.

They weren't gifted an Olympic medal in their own backyard. They never got KOed by a little roly poly boy the second they stepped out of their comfort zone. They never got outclassed like AJ did the other night.

Admittedly Usyk is a fine fighter but AJ is still a couple weight classes above him really. The fact that he looked so out of his depths against a smaller man like that is sad.

No one would ever say AJ is some unbeatable monster now, you're right. You'd have to be a complete idiot to say that after he got KOed by Ruiz.
You're talking about hype. Thhose two were hyped far beyond Joshua. People were claiming Golovkin was the best MW ever.

I'll say it again since you apparently can't read; we know you can't judge fighters at all:

They were hyped further above their ability than Joshua was making them bigger hype jobs. Sorry that the truth hurts.

And GGG never got outclassed like AJ has in his fights; GGG never fought at home his whole career like AJ has; he was never gifted a gold medal like AJ was.

GGG fought his whole career at MW, on the road or neutral, and had some very impressive runs there. His only close fight in that time was at 37 vs a very good fighter, and he still had a claim to winning that fight, scoring a KD. Anyone with 2 eyes could see that he beat Canelo twice, the number 1 pfp fighter in the world, outlanding him by about 80 punches over those 2 fights.

His performances were better and his circumstances were worse than AJ's. He deserves to be hyped much more than AJ. Pfp he is a much much better fighter.

Not even close. You're really taking this loss hard, not surprising I guess. Keep up those mental gymnastics, gotta sleep at night I guess.

I don't know about that. He was much better than AJ though, so he was a lot closer to his hype in general. There's really no debate about that.

Was he? What's his best wins? Joshua has an HOF/ATG on his resume where's Golovkins?

Loma lost to Salido and Lopez. They were inferior to Ruiz and Usyk.

Golovkin fans were claiming he was the best MW ever, Loma fans were flat out saying he was the best fighter ever. Both fell far short of that. Joshua was only claimed to be the best HW now and it's still possible for him to achieve that, a win against Usyk in the rematch and it's back in play.

So Golovkin and Loma are far bigger hype jobs.
