Well as of yesterday; The Pfizer vaccine has now been FDA approved. Which means it's safe.

That doesn't mean people should be forced to take it if they don't want it.

I'm not sure if you know but there's a revolving door between the FDA and the big pharmaceutical companies. With people working for one side then getting high positions on the other side. Going both ways.

he would almost certainly be fine if he got covid and may not even know he has it but getting the vaccine is good for him in this case, hes ready for this fight now and covid can mess up fights

That holds true with pharmaceutical drugs, which some drugs are just out there to make a cheap buck. But don't get it confused and compare apple's to oranges, this is a public health emergency and a vaccine is not a drug, there's a difference, so happens the people that make vaccines are bio science companies, aka pharmaceuticals who are the only people that can produce this vaccine that's the only connection. Don't you know what is going on here? If people continue not getting the vaccine, this disease will continue to mutate and get stronger to the point no vaccine will stop it, the variant that's going around now ( delta) is a mutation that happened after the vaccine was developed because there was a ton of people not vaccinated, so now because the vaccine was developed with another strain, it's breaking through, if vaccinated, you will probably have light symptoms if your in good health, if not, it's a problem even if you are vaccinated, if you are healthy now and not vaccinated, you will have major problems if you get the delta variant, just ask the 72 people at the hospital I work at, ages range from children to mostly 20s and 30s perfectly healthy adults who are not vaccinated and fighting to breathe, and are taking up all the space so people with other conditions are not being able to get a bed and nurse's and doctor's are working around the clock to keep them alive. People only think of their damn selves and don't realize what there doing to the health care system which is not equipped to handle this many patients. So please, if you don't want to get it, cool, just stay home and die if you get it and don't burden other people with your problems when you are fighting to breathe, and stop spreading your b.s online.

yes delta is more of a problem for unvaxed people, but u also have to be realistic too, the vast majority of young healthy people who get delta will be fine, a certain low % will end up in hospital cluttering things up and they will regret not getting the vaccine and cause problems etc

also at the end of the day, it looks likely that everyone will at some point pick up the virus, vaxed or not and picking up a virus and letting your body fight it off is different that a vaccine that just goes after the spike protein, covid is more than a spike protein, if u get this virus and fight it off u have immunity to all of the virus and that will serve u well into the future too as the virus changes

actually, if u wanted to go ahead and get 1 shot of a vaccine to introduce the virus to u and not get the second shot just live your life and then pick the virus up in the end, u could have best of both worlds going forward, a safe introduction for a healthy person to covid and then a natural immunity response

And that is your opinion and yes I'm used Pac/Ugas as an analogy. The odds were more in Ugas favor according to bookies but according to the people on here it's about the same. Slim to none seems to be the going rate and slim to none was the going rate for Ugas according to boxing scene. Therefore my analogy isnt far off.

Big difference between a mandate vs a requirement. No one can force you to get vaccinated. But a private business or government employer can require a vaccine to enter their business or be employed as they can potentially be held liable if someone gets sick or dies. They have every right to protect their business.
I am a 49er season ticket holder and they have not said a vaccine is required to get into games yet but most people expect that it’s coming.
