Manny: "my legs was tight". SMDH. Spence vs. Ugas will be a HELL of a fight. I want to see how Errol deals with that defense.

Just to remind people why Manny lost. Too bad Manny made an excuse about tight legs instead of giving Ugas his credit for whooping his ass.

Freddie Roach said it already: Manny HATES jabs in his face. He can't deal with it.

    But...looking forward.

I was very impressed with Ugas' defense. Very impressed. His shell, his evasion, his deflecting punches, his counters, he just had an 80% defense strategy and then landed solid shots back in return. It reminded me of Clottey when Clottey actually used to throw back.

I want to see how Errol deals with that. I do.

Put Bud in with him and we will see how good his defense is then.

This was more about Manny not getting proper training for this fight, factor his age and inactivity. I really don't see Ugas winning against Spence.

I really hope Pacquiao learned his lesson. Assuming he fights again, he shouldn't be going into fights with less than two weeks preparation. Cancel or Delay it. He's not young anymore.

I think we might need to start making plans for this Division WITHOUT Spence for now, we don't know when or if he will ever be back

The Show must go on and this is still a Competitive Division if Pacman is retiring and if Spence doesn't comeback

Spence to date has never fought someone who is heavily defensive; he's only ever fought guys that come straight at him. The closest was Danny Swift, but Danny Swift wasn't overly defensive, he was just tentative, same as Mikey.

Kell Brook tried to be defensive, but Brook has never been a defensive-first fighter like what we just saw out of Ugas, same as Algieri.

I'm talking a guy that stands in front of him, blocks/evades/deflects everything he throws, then slips sneaky shots in and around the guard.

For Errol to beat that kind of fighter he'd have to basically walk him down - and we've seen twice now that Ugas has NO problem going to war and his chin is sold.

That's why I want to see that fight. You got two guys with rock chins who aren't afraid to get hit, both with solid jabs, one who basically pitched a shutout against Manny, one who actually pitched a shutout against Mikey. It's a VERY VERY VERY intriguing fight.

Not even. Ugas was just as effective against Porter, but Porter was able to get to Ugas better than Manny did. I don't think that was a training thing, I think it was Jeff Horn again - Manny didn't take the guy seriously.

Whatever round that was when Manny basically just went forward and started throwing for the fences? Struck me as total frustration totally uncharacteristic of him.

The late change may have played a factor, but to me, I didn't see Manny less of himself, it just seemed like he didn't like that jab pumped in his face again and he couldn't reach the guy no matter what he did.

Stop it. Get some help. Ugas also took the fight in 11 days notice.
