Typical troll quick to jump to assumptions.

Even if I was scared for Spence (I'm not), I would be justified because common sense dictates that a welterweight cannot in their right mind jump to 168lbs. That's three divisions.

Duran, SRL, Hearns, none of thosw guys jumped those weight classes.

They moved up one at a time like normal people.

People like to claim Duran jumped two weight classes to fight Leonard.

That aint even true. Duran had like eight fights at welter before he fought SRL.

    Its just like rewriting history.

No doubt Spence can move up all those weight classes and succeed, but he has to do it the right way.

If he wants to fight Canelo immediately then it has to be at 160lbs otherwise its just an unrealistic match up.

It would be almost as bad as Khan vs Canelo at 155lbs.

Stylistically Spence has the style to beat Canelo, but there are weight classes for a reason.

Before Jacobs landed the fight with Canelo he fought tough contenders at the time in Sulecki, Devrenchencko then champions in Quillen and GGG. Even in his questionable loss to GGG Canelo still granted him a shot. These guys today are looking to cut corners and chasing the money not realizing or caring much that it's hurting the sport and their place in history.

Actually they have been mentioning Mall for a while but he gotta come to terms with the fact that he hasn't done much at 160 and isn't in any position to make demands in regards to his purse especially since he turned down an offer in the past.

These mfers want to sit around, fight bs mandatories and be thrust into the ppv spotlight overnight.
Andrade has been calling for all that smoke at 160. Noone is picking up. Hearn had to announce that he's available and vulnerable even willing to take a pay cut just to get someone of relevance in there but champions are not biting. I feel bad for only two fighters and that's Andrade and Haney even though Haney's still in the pubescent stage of his pro career. Make that three TC too.

            GGG
            GGG
            FIELDING
            JACOBS
            KOVALEV
            C. SMITH
YILDRIM (he was forced to take this fight, or vacate)
            SAUNDERS

Don't know you personally, but I'm familiar with your knowledge level based on previous post. You can't HONESTLY feel this is the path of "least resistance"
Fielding, Kovalev with no rest, and gifted with a bow mando Yildrim were path of least resistance for an elite fighter and caliber of Canelo. It's like Canelo vs. Floyd. Everyone who knows boxing knows "there's levels to this s#!+!"
But in all honesty that list is solid as it's reasonable to have a few stay busy fights in between for longevity in the hurt business.

But In the cases of Ali and Duran when you consider the opposition they faced, the classic fights they had, the fact that many consider them the greatest fighters ever at lightweight and heavyweight respectively, to put canelo in the same sentence with them and say he’s in the same class is a slap in the face to boxing history. Especially when canelos greatest win is a controversial win over a 36 year old GGG and according to his personal opinion of his greatest win, it’s against a 36 year old much smaller Cotto.
Let's start with the fact that he's won titles at 154, 160, 168, and 175.. How many fighters have done that? If he becomes UNDISPUTED @ 168, how many other fighters have done that? Lastly, if he beat Charlo, Spence, and Benavidez, after becoming undisputed @ 168, at a minimum, he's on the Roberto Duran, JCC Sr. level! And yes, I would even put him on the Mayweather, Ali, level as well!

Anyone can see they want no part of Andrade. Neither does Charlo. It’s funny that now Renalso is saying they want to fight Charlo next after he looked so bad... they barely mentioned his name before !!

It’s also true that Canelo’s side paid off Saunders side to avoid Saunders fighting Andrade first and now that talks are happening to try to make Charlo and Andrade happen suddenly Canelo’s side is mentioning fighting Charlo next which also keeps Charlo from fighting Andrade. The bottom line is Canelo will do virtually ANYTHING to keep Andrade from fighting anyone relevant enough to move him into a position to HAVE to fight him !!

Canelo is NOT fighting Benavides !!! If he does he will get beat !! Renalso is way too smart to let that happen. He also isn’t fight Andrade who was in those divisions and available for unification fights multiple times and Canelo stayed away from him. Including when he moved up to fight A SHOT Kovalev instead ! Haggler, Leonard, Duran, Hearns and lots of others fought EVERYONE in their prime. Canelo couldn’t even come close to beating Mayweather when he was ready to retire. Canelo’s trainer has hand picked virtually every fight in the past 4 years for Canelo and done a hell of a job doing it.

Too bad Benavidez wants to do coke and eat takeout! Maybe he would be a Champion today? As for now, who is he fighting? Uzcategui? that's sad! Hindsight is 20/20!

Don’t get too excited. He’s not fighting Benavides (unless Benavides gets beat up for a few years first !)
