I personally would've respected Floyd alot more if....

He came back to fight any decent Welterweight out there...and wouldn't care if it was on a HBO Main Event card...

Fight Quintana, fight Berto, fight Abregu, fight Brook, fight Collazo, hell even Steve Forbes.......point is, come back after a 2 yr layoff, do a "tune-up" fight to get your **** back, take a 80/20 cut from whatever purse the fight would've been, and wait for the Elite's to sort each other out then step in and make your money again.....

But coming back to fight Marquez, making a reported $15mili while giving Marquez $3-5mili, making him come up to WW, and Floyd being the "stronger, faster, younger etc.." just doesn't do it for me as a fan. Don't get me wrong...I will be watching on Sept. 19th....but at a buddy's expense...

      Buying power.

      If he respected Floyd,

most likely he would be buying the fight himself instead of waiting for a friend to get it.

Instead, there is one less sale, and millions more just like him.

      It adds up.

Marquez is getting his biggest career pay day and Floyd is fighting the no2
          p4p fighter.

Also, no fighter would want to return to the sport on an undercard... lmao. be serious. Especially a fighter as great as Floyd.

I'd rather see him fight Marquez than guys like Quintana or Collazo.

Respect from fans holds more value than the money Floyd will be making on Sept 19..

This is a real good point man. Hopkins should go after the P4P best fighter in his last fight. It will look good having that on his resume and cement his legacy even further..

                  lol, yup, according to FSL,

                  Floyd Stan Logic,

it doesn't matter what weight a fighter actually campaigns at,

the most important thing is where he is at in the pfp mythical rankings that have no real value.

$49.95....and not that it matters to you...but if there are others out there who feel like I do...let's say a rough est. of 50K people....50K x 49.95 = 2.49 mili.....that's alot of money and alot of fans whose value are pretty dear to "Money Mayweather"....
