hatton was a big draw. but pacman who is the biggest draw in boxing couldnt match mayweathers vs hattons numbers. i think floyd is a big draw. people who point to oscar and hatton as the only reason he sold so many fights have to remember that pacman himself didnt do as much when he faught these same fighters. he is an american, americans follow americans. notice how bikeing and swimming only got attention when americans started to win.

Another Spin on How Boxing revolves around PBF

Give me a break. When he left, nobody was really talking about PBF. He came back because there were so much raucus in boxing (or money problems..). It was thriving. It wasn't because of PBF. So much bologna coming off of PBF camp and himself. If you are a big PBF fan, you are probably thinking...WTF? And if you believe it, then you're probably in a world of your own.

The only person that really changed a sport and how much money it brings is Tiger Woods.

yeah when floyd was on top , boxing was maybe as dead as it has ever been, as soon as pacman was there it started to rise again , maybe oscar and ricky were chumps against pacman , but he also did everything in his power to knock them out. most fans like that, i know i do. i dont wanna see a fighter take the safe road to victory which floyd does and he is great at it , but its boring and ruins a sport full of true warriors. I WANT BLOOD. I WANT 12 ROUNDS OF NON STOOP ACTION, something pacquiao has done many times , and floyd has never come close to accomplishing.

So all of those fighters need to thank the guy that never wanted to face them for their accomplishments. STFU! They got those opportunities because of their hard work and for actually facing each other(true WW) not hiding behind a "retirement" like Floyd did. I know it will be really hard, but I really hope Marquez shuts him up and sends him back into retirement. He just came back and I'm already tired of his ****** ****!

floyd is not the cash king

floyd talks so much about him being the main attraction in boxing and how many payperviews his fights with oscar and ricky sold, how many payperviews did he sell prior to this two fights?floyd can call himself a great boxer but not a great fighter, and in my opinion if he wants to retire as the best he will have to prove it.mosley, cotto, clottey, berto, paul williams or paquiao if he gets past cotto which i doubt.

I don't like his attitude, but he does make for big fights. The intrigue is if anyone can beat him.
