Paul is fighting someone who can crack, who just 10 months ago was a 4-1 favorite to not only beat, but in the opinion of many stop Hopkins.

when i said id go with williams 100%... it just meant that, that is who i would definitely pick to win the fight... i would never mean it in a way that bernard would have 0% chance. I would never say something to that effect... after watching williams lost to quintana and bernard beat pavlik... i would never give bernard a 0% chance to beat anybody... i just meant it as in that is my pick 100%.

This is going to be a very dangerous and difficult fight for both boxers.Due to the fact that both of these men are in there primes of their career's,and are hungry for a victory/Also its gives the winner a chance to step back into the limelight.The only two scenario's that keep playing out in my mind are 1)Paul Williams steps into the ring oct 3 and completely outboxes Pavlik for 12 rounds 2)During the fight Paul Williams stops boxing and starts trying to brawl with Kelly and gets Knocked Out by eating a few of Pavlik's straight rights.

true...but one of them is riding a huge wave of momentum, one is coming off a very disappointing loss, and it remaims to be seen how he bounces back. that rubio **** wasn't impressive at all.

Dawson? hell no, dawson is way too big, and williams has no size advantage.

Dirrell? still pretty green, and his defense isnt the best... altho im a huge fan of dirrell.... I could see williams outpointing him... altho it would be at 168... hard to tell, i need to see williams in there w pavlik 1st at 160.

Bernard, u know how i feel about that. The 45 year old Bernard anyway.

Co-sign. 160 is the maximum I can see Williams going for now, unless he fights B level competition above. I don't like Williams's chances against slick boxers his size or bigger. I am one of the guys who defends Williams being better than Quintana by the fact that he knocked him ****** in the second fight, but quintana really isn't as slick or even nearly as skilled as some of those guys you mentioned. The only thing that worries me anout this Pavlik fight is Pauls chin at 160.

the funny thing is, most ppl see this as kelly winning based on his power alone....and if that's all he has to hang his hat on, against a guy that's never been hurt, that doesn't bode well to me. most other ppl think williams can win by outboxing kelly for 12, and although its not likely, a KO or TKO is also w/in the realm of possibility. i can't wait for the odds to come out for this fight!
