wish he would give cunningham a rematch...definately deserves it. But i wish Adamek well at Hvy. Maybe Steve could follow him north and get his rematch there.

p.s. I think its hilarious that everyone who moves up wants to fight Monte Barrett first. HAHAHAHA

He has decent length arms but its at 6ft 7 the height advantage is a huge factor, not knocking him he uses his attributes great. But i dont believe with his chin and in a Haye/Chambers, etc like body he would be anywhere near world champ with his jab jab jab tactics

Will people cry if Adamek gets a shot at the Klit's after a fight at heavyweight?

Vitali is about 6'7" but Wlad says he's about 6'5". He appears to be the same height as Lewis, but with much shorter arms. Wlad's statistics:

If Wlad had Lennox' arm length, he would probably be undefeated. Wlad would still be a heavyweight champ if he were Haye's height. Haye has slightly longer arms than Wlad, and is two inches shorter. Byrd was much shorter, but was equal in arm length to Wlad (statistics given at the beginning of HBO's Wlad-Byrd II).

Arm length is indeed important - Muhammed Ali had very long arms and used the advantage well. Tyson, Tua and Marciano had short arms for heavyweights.

A Haye/Chambers type body? You realize that their body types and sizes are completely different? Chambers is tiny compared to Haye, even at 208 lbs he still had a substantial amount of fat around his midsection.

If Wlad was Chambers' size, I would agree with you. But you seriously don't think if he was two inches shorter, but with the same arm length, that he'd be anywhere near world champ? That jab jab jab works when it's a top 5 HW jab of all time, and his defense these days is impeccable. You don't think if Haye had Wlad's jab and defense he'd have any chance of being world champ? The same guy that without them was Undisputed one weight south? Um, okay.

Adamek is a tiny CW. While most guys are coming into the ring about 212-217, he's barely at 199-200. He'd make for some entertaining matchups at HW, but he needs more time to add weight. The guy just barely moved up from LHW FCS.

lol Chambers is not going to fight Adamek, he's already set for a title shot. Adamek can forget about fighting some of the top ranked contenders like Arreola and Chambers. Maybe he should consider fighting Tony Thompson or James Toney.

I applaud him for going to Heavyweight, however Adamek has no chance against the K brothers. He is just too small, will probably work his way to a shot against Wlad and then get completely jabbed to death to a UD. I think Haye would beat him as well.

He's just chasing dollars. He knows he can't beat the Klits. But he's having a hard time making big money fights and he sees light at the end of the tunnel of his career.

Dawson rematch is what I'd love to see. Cunningham rematch? Ehh, not so much. I think he settled that one pretty solid. At HW, a fight with Haye would be fun.

I think this will be Adamek's "one step too far". Much like De La Hoya when he moved to middleweight, Adamek may find some success at heavyweight. But I assure you he will at some point look across the ring and say to himself "What have I got myself into?"

Adamek's power is not great enough, his chin is not granite enough, and he's not very fast. While he's a very good fighter and one of the toughest SOBs around, heavyweights will be too much for him IMO.
