According to reports overseas, the Mexican boxing commission has received an application that seeks dates in late September or early October for former welterweight champion Antonio Margarito to make his ring return at Plaza Monumental in Tijuana. The opponent has not been named but several rumors over the last few months have linked former champions Zab Judah and Carlos Baldomir as Margarito's comeback foes. Unlikely that Judah would head to Mexico to face Margarito. Mexico's Zanfar Promotions, who work with Top Rank, are said to be involved in the promotion of the event. [details]
