For me it's either going to be Manny early or Cotto late.

Just the way I see it going down.
        I agree.

At welterweight Cotto punishes Pacquiao and forces Roach to save his son. At the catchweight Pacquiao beats a drained Cotto and possibly stops him late.

Cotto has a lot of heart and takes punishment well, even though some poster makes it seem as if his chin is made out of plastic. So can Manny Pacquiao make Cotto quit? Only if Cotto's health is at risk. Does Manny hit harder than Margarito? that can only be answered by someone whom has been unfortunate enough to taste leather coming from both man. I dont think you can answer that question just based on who's the heavier of the two as force equals mass * acceleration (Newtons Second law) in other words is a combination of weight (as long as the gravitational force is the same) and speed. I believe speed is just as or more important in determining force . For example; if you had one strike with a 10 pound hammer or a 50 pound hammer, which can you do more damage with? Drivers are usually lighter than clubs because the lighter ones permit Golfers faster speeds and therefore longer range. You can apply it to boxing as well as its a physical law. For instance, it took Margarito 11 rounds of punishment before he finally dropped Cotto yet it took Torres just a couple of shots even though he's not nearly as strong. Margarito did more damage (plaster or not) but it was based on accumulation of punches, a lighter faster puncher provides one punch Knockouts at a greater ratio than slow heavy handed punchers. Therefore it's a mistake to assume that it's impossible for Manny to hit harder than Margarito just based on weight. Cotto Vs Pacquaio would be a great fight for sure.

he is so feather fisted that he made Oscars face look worse than it ever has, and his punches had so little effect that Oscar felt the need to quit on his stool like a *****.
