****ing right on! I was posting that a few months ago. Manny would not let Floyd off the hook if that happened.

LOL. Atlas was right about Cotto-Clottey. He has been right about a few things, and didn't he pick Manny over Hatton?

          check out rd 3 & 4

He was Stunned in the middle of RD3 & the beginnign of the 4. South Paws has a better chance of hurting PBF. Zab Knocked him down (even though it wasn't counted) in the 2nd RD and stunned him in the 4th.

Manny is a sucker for straight right hands, none of the guys he has beaten in his last three fights have decent straight rights (Diaz does not throw crisp straight punches, Oscar as a converted lefty has always had a weak right hand, and Hatton well the next time he throws a nice straight right hand will be the first). Cotto for that matter lacks a good straight right hand aswell.

That does not mean that Manny can not win but Floyd would be a huge test he would have to overcome.

that is your problem...i will base it off of it seeing how we are talking about how floyd fares against southpaws---it is a great comparison seeing how manny pac is a southpaw...i made that post in response to what some other poster said about floyd fighting manny off of the ropes...and howthe shoulder roll wouldn't work...and i'm telling you that manny will fight cautiously against floyd if floyd hits the ropes...that's a good and bad thing for manny...floyd fights very effectively off of the ropes against southpaws, he always has...he knows how to use the ropes very well to lean back and avoid punches or shoulder roll or land punches on his opponents and use the ropes to move away before they hit him...he has done this with every southpaw he fought...

so because floyd was momentarily stunned in round 4(not in round 3, he was caught but not stunned), that makes manny the winner...you are crazy...floyd was caught with a looping punch from corley that sent him back, and floyd covered up very well...you think manny would do much better if he stuns floyd? i don't think so...manny would fight floyd very cautiously if floyd hits the ropes...corley didn't effectively fight floyd while floyd was on the ropes...floyd has never had problems with southpaws when he was defending off of the ropes...manny is no exception...floyd can use those ropes very well, he has done so, so manny times before, and he can coubter off of the ropes also...off of the shoulder roll...he has also done this before...that's how knockouts come, countering off blocked punches, it's veyr effective...floyd has mastered it...manny is in serious trouble...
