The most biased poll ever. 3 options and all against Floyd. Floyd in no way will fight Pac for 50/50. Why do people think 50/50 is so fair? Everyone on here thinks 50/50 is fair just because Pac is #1 but everything you judge money by says that Floyd deserves atleast 55 and I think he deserves 60. Why would Floyd take 50 when they both very recently have fought the same 3 guys. They both fought the same 3 guys. I cant beleive how people are downplaying this. Floyd doulbed Pac with Oscar, he outdid Pac by a good amount against Hatton, and we all know that he will out do Pac vs JMM. Thats a given. If all that is true and Floyd retired as the undefeated P4P guy and is the best guy in boxing at selling a fight then why would he take 50/50 with Pac? There is no way in hell he is doing that and he would be dumb to do so. I dont care who rips him. They hate him anyway. He's not going to be dumb like others are and let that dictate for him to take half or less. He's not ******. Everything is in his favor.

I also love how everyone on here is beleiving the hype that Pac will fight other guys and Floyd wont or that Pac will do better numbers with other guys. Its a joke. Floyd would have no problem fighting Mosley. Its Pac who dont want any of Mosley or Cotto. You guys fall for all the hype. Its just negotiating. They know Floyd is there so its easy for them to throw out Mosley & Cotto's name. They dont want them. I bet anything if Floyd was still retired then there is no way in hell that they would fight Cotto or Mosley unless the fight was at 141 or something where they know Cotto & Shane would be dead weight. They also know that Floyd will sell more with Shane then Pac would with Cotto which will make Floyd have even more bargining power in the furture. Add to that Floyd has made a trillion more dollars than Pac. Pac and Roach arent dumb. Arum may be but theyre not. You guys can fall for the hype but theyre is no way in the world that they will fight Cotto or Mosley who would probably be harder fights than Floyd and do it for a quarter of the money. It makes no sense. They willl bite and take less and Floyd knows it. At worst it will be like 50.5/42.5 in favor of Floyd with the last 7 percent going to the winner

I think 50/50 is about fair but this is business man and it's never that simple, the fight will happen if its meant to!

Mayweather, a six-time former world champion from Grand Rapids, proclaimed loud and clear in a recent interview with FightHype.com that Pacquiao must take less than 50 percent of the purse split if their much-speculated matchup is ever going to happen.

"Pacquiao will never get 50/50. It'll be a cold day in hell before that happens," he said.

Of course, Pacquiao's promoter Bob Arum, who calls Mayweather a "boring fighter," thinks differently.

"So now Floyd Mayweather says he wants 60 percent (to fight Pacquiao)," Arum said in the same Philstar.com article. "That's nonsense. Even 50 percent is nonsense. You can make a deal with Mayweather if Mayweather takes a much smaller percent."

Ladyfan your so biased its unreal, your the one that said Pacquiao should get 75%. Both Arum and Mayweather said they wanted 60/40, why is Mayweather only to blame... when they both asked for the same amount of purse, its all just negotiations.

50/50 is fair, but they will both go into the negotiations making large demands because they want to get the most they possibly can, its all just negotiations like I said... I think 50/50 is fair though.

How people can go and blame Floyd for saying he wants 60/40 when Arum said he wants 60/40 as well beats me... and I doubt Mayweather's scared of Pacquiao, if he beats JMM convincingly (cannot be overlooked) I think him and his team will try to make the fight happen... anyway he said that the purse split stuff is down to Ellerbe and Arum to negotiate (in his last article on here).

Huh? Whatcha mean? You have to realize that the Pacman is the "Star" of this show. He should get the majority of the proceeds. It's only fair.

I'd be afraid of pacquiao too if I was Floyd, he has great footwork like Floyds. I'm sure alot of Floyd fans will disagree about the comparison I just made with their footworks being equally impressive.

Is it really that hard to understand? You blaming Mayweather for what there both demanding, and you did say he should get 75% and you are biased towards Pacquiao.

Pacquiao the star? Mayweather is just as big a star, he has that internet commercial which is apparently #1 in the USA, Wrestlemania, Dancing with the stars... not to mention his name always being mentioned through his lay-off, and his name being used in every fight.

Pacquiao vs Hatton did around 800k buys, Mayweather vs Hatton did 900k buys, Pacquiao vs De La Hoya did 1.25 million buys, Mayweather vs De La Hoya did 2.4 million buys. The numbers don't lie...

If we judged it all on that, you would have to sway it to Mayweather... but due to the fight being bigger than any other fight, the fact that Pacquiao is P4P #1 at the moment, has a big fan base, the fact that he beat Hatton and De La Hoya more convincingly... and it is a fight everyone wants to see because it will seal who is the best of the generation... both have equally made this fight anticipated, so if Mayweather beats JMM (as I said before he can't be overlooked) the purse split should be 50/50.

That is what you have gotta realize.
