12, there were a couple of fighters who died of stamina issues and dehydration because of the 15 round fights. Besides, not everyone has Paul Williams, Floyd Mayweather, Manny Pacquiao type stamina nowadays. 12 is okay imo.

Imagine Cotto vs Mosley was 15 instead of 12...

This question is simple in terms of how each side answers it.

15 rounds is far superior, in many ways, for the fan.

15 rounds is also much more dangerous and grueling for the fighters.

12 rounds is better for the boxer's health and longevity in the sport, and modern sports has generally advanced in every game in regard to its safety features, but it also doesn't push the athlete to the brink, risking life and health for glory and victory- something that was often played out bloody, gruesome battles that were visually stunning for the audience and quite damaging for the athlete.

Sure, modern boxing has lost a little in terms of how hard the boxer is pushed to display their stamina and will, but only very selfish fans wont concede to the necessity of shorter fights for the well-being of those men that make boxing a profession in addition to a competitive sport.

Ali v Frazier...sure it was awesome...but it was too much....12 is good...but maybe do 13 to get away from draws

I voted 12. I used to think 15 was better but its dangerous for the fighters. Besides, after 10 rounds the fighters usually look tired already.
