Why doesn't Shane Mosley get the love he deserves???

If you ask me, Sugar Shane should be #2 on every P4P list out there. Look at the wins he has. He has never been knocked out... he's coming off of a massive "upset" over Margarito. He's back to the old Shane. And I thought he fought a good fight against Cotto, even though I think Shane Mosley won every round after the 6th. He is a future HOF and is still one of the top 5 boxers fighting today. He deserves his props.

Forrest is to Mosley::Marquez is to Pacquiao... a boxer whose only significant fights (in Forrest's case significant wins) came against a bigger named fighter. lol.

Shane doesn't warrant a spot over Marquez IMO. And Shane is a HOFer but he's not in his prime anymore. Margarito's style is tailor-made for him. Yes he did give Cotto a very good fight tho...

What makes you say he isn't in his prime anymore??? He still has fast hands and we witnessed he still has power against Mayorga and Margarito. What big wins does Marquez have that can overthrow what Mosley has recently been able to do and what he has done in the past. I mean, I can agree he's not in his absolute prime, but you make it sound like he pulled a modern-Roy Jones or post-jail Mike Tyson on his own career. He's not too far past his prime and he is still making a lot of noise between 147-154. Not tryin to knock ur opinion or anything... I respect it.

The first thing that came to mind when I saw this thread was a thread from a year or two titled "If Shane Mosley was white would he be considered a great fighter" or something very similar. I'm not saying it's because he's black though.
