as a hopkins diehard fan i don't like this fight because there is nothing to it, it proves nothing, and is a meaningless fight, at least to us fans, and i know that tito's fans aren't too happy about this as well.

hopkins completely outclassed tito when tito was on top of his game, and since then tito has been a shell of what he once was. not only that but tito hsan't had any control over his weight outside of the ring too, so you know that he hasn't kept himself even close to fighting condition.

one thing i will say about this fight, is, tito has been clamoring for this fight for quite a while now, even after getting beat up by an old shot roy jones jr. so my thing is this, if tito wants the fight so bad, then i think hopkins should fulfill his wish and turn it into the chinese curse of " may you get everything you wish for.", and retire tito again, retire him so good that don king can't recycle him anymore....................

typical nardo...still hunting for big name, smaller fighters to walk down and make millions off...not to mention his diehard fans will overrate the victory...

I cant blame Hopkins, I would rather fight a shot Tito over Adamek or Dawson.

tito has been the one pushing for this fight, and tito outweighs hopkins outside the ring, always has, so how is tito smaller, just because tito dropped 40-45 pounds to fight guys at welter!?!?! and you're talking about hopkins beating up on smaller guys!?!?! that is classic, just because tito drops all that weight to beat up on smaller guys, hopkins is the one blamed for beating up on smaller guy when he held his weight at 160 never to go past 173 in between fights, all the while tito blows up to 180-185, sometimes 185+ to drop down and fight at welter, that is beater, no logic in your statement. it's harder for a man growing older to keep the same weight than it is to go up in weight, because keeping your weight throughout your career is fighting nature as well as fighting world class fighters......how come no one says the same thing about calzaghe fighting at supermiddle his whole career? calzaghe must have fought ALL SMALLER FIGHTERS WHO WERE COMING UP TO SUPPERMIDDLE THEN, get out of here with that crap.
when it was tito who was beating up on smaller guys making him a star in the process, and all of you tito **** riders bought it hook, line, and sinker, because he made his fame knocking out smaller guys................. then when tito fought a guy that was his size, he got stomped, embarrassed, and basically retired.
this isnt a good fight for hopkins, there is nothing for him to win, only thing here is to put tito and his fans back to sleep................. where they can fantasize about his illustrious career of dropping 45 pounds to fight 147 pounders......................

This fight will not happen. Hopkins already said he wouldn't fight Tito last year, and he already beat the living hell out of Tito, while he was in his prime. At this point Hopkins would just be beating on a shot fighter.

Well Tito isn't gonna win this one, I do respect the fact that he'd like to avenge his lose but like someone said, I'd perfer Tito vs Pavlik at 160. B-Hop vs Chad or Adamek
