Minion, I forgive you, I can see what you was trying to do, and its the thought that counts.

Anyways, some of the Calzaghe hobo's need to turn it in, come on now, who the f.uck actually thinks this guy is gonna get mentioned in the same breath as fighters like Archie Moore, Henry Armstrong and such and such years from now?

The only reason he gets mentioned on here is simple

    1) Malcom needs a few extra points so he makes threads like these.

    2) I and others feel like winding up a few skirt wearing knob tarts

Ah technical_skill, i see you were being sarcastic.

But that say's it all doesn't it. What Normal people take as a joke, Calzaghe fans take serious.

I mean Calzaghe fans mention Joe's Big Wins being over guys like Pudwell (sp?)

I mean their serious, but i cannot help but laugh and cringe

Look at a Proper Resume, like Hopkins

De La Hoya, Winky Wright, Joppy, Trinidad, Pavlik, Tarver, Allen, Eastman, Glen Johnson etc.

All those, Prime v Prime, is what you call big wins.
            Huh?

What the fuck does All time great mean anyway? It's simply up to interpretation so it doesn't mean a hell of a lot.

i think Calzaghe could sc**** it into the tail end of a top 100 list

which by my slightly clunky requirements makes him a ATG

"ATG" is not some even plateau; Calzaghe is clearly not a Henry Armstrong or Joe Gans..... but neither is Philadelphia Jack O'Brian, John L Sullivan, Holman Williams etc

A lot of people consider Calzaghe an ATG,. personally I don’t

But my question is when did he become an ATG fighter.

Was it before the Hopkins fight. Did you consider him an ATG after his wins over past it Eubank Lacy and Kessler.

Or was it after his controversial SD over Hopkins.
In the name of peace i say let his fans think whatever they want. The ATG list is a subjective one. Of course JC is not an ATG not more than Shane Mosley is, or more than Bernard Hopkins is. For an instance and so that you guys don't go thinking I'm saying this because JC is a white guy: the other only retired undefeated guy on this era - Floyd Mayweather Jr. got HELL for claiming he was the best of this ERA, not one of the best ever, which is what ATG really means. Yet Floyd Mayweather Jr. was an undefeated 5 category champion who was p4p #2 3 years into his pro career. He was p4p #1 from 2005 to 2007 when he retired. This guy gets all hell on him for claiming he was the best to lace em up THIS ERA. Joe Calzaghe barely got past 43 year old Bernard Hopkins, who yes still had allot left in him but, come on! "Normal" fighters are fighting veterans like Hopkins and Jones for a name in their resume, not for claiming ATG status! You are supposed to fight veterans when you're 26, like Chad Dawson is doing right now. The reasoning here is gaining world class experience without risking your precious 0 while at it (because the old great won't likely be fighting at your rhythm for 12, right? Most times yes). But wait, these people claiming JC is an ATG refuse the same honors to Mosley, Hoya, Mayweather, Castillo, (not Hopkins though for obvious reasons) and many others. I mean, if you are serious about JC being a ATG then YOU ARE LOWERING THE BAR EFFECTIVELY, which means EVERY good fighter is going in there too!
