Cotto vs. Clottey will be just like the Margarito fight!!!

Hell look good for a while throwing fast punches...then when he looks up and realizes they all landed on Clotteys guard and Josh isnt hurt...thats when Cotto will retreat and backpedal and get chased down and stopped.

Clottey is too big for him and will be a light heavyweight (175 lbs) on fight night...

Clottey has a good guard and chin..and its hard to land on his body.....

Clottey wil go to Cottos body with his triple left hook attack...

Clottey will eventually wear Cotto down and stop him with some big shots...

Cotto is a great fighter but damn he doesnt know how to recognize when a style is all wrong for you...

Margarito needed Plaster to win, but i do recognized Clottey could turn out to be a nightmare for cotto. And clottey should be as determine as ever to win. This is perhaps Clottey last big chance at a world title. I always believe Cotto might not be the same after his fight with Margarito. his last fight wasn't a real challenge for him, but this fight can be fatal for him, especially if he gets hurt.

First Clottey doesnt throw, 1/4 fo th punches margarito throw on fights. Second Clottey doesnt have the power to back Cotto off. Third Clottey gasses out by the 6th round. fourth Clottey is open for left hooks to the body and left uppercuts. And the left hand is Miguels best weapon. fifth Cotto already fought 2 guys with a similar style to Clottey and stop them both.

So analizes tis fight Cotto will UD Clottey, without much Problem. or TKOs him late with body shots!!!!!!!!

You people go oh wow Clottey is a big Welterweight so Cotto is screwed. Clottey doesn't have the workrate of Margarito. Clottey will let Cotto dictate the pace. Clottey is just as likely to gas down the stretch as Cotto.

Clottey fights nothing like Margarito. This fight will look like Cotto/Clottey.

I agree....Clottey is a bad match up for him..IMO Cotto is a better fighter...but styles makes fight.....

Mayweather is light years better then Paul..but Paul would **** him up...why??..bad style matchup.

Anyway......Clottey has the power to hurt Cotto....and I dont think Cotto can hurt Clottey..in fact Clottey has never been hurt and took 12 rounds of Margs plaster shots...with a broken hand..dude is hardbody as they come..hes going to rough Cotto up.

I don't think so, Clottey and Margarito are completely different fighters. Margarito has a higher work rate and punches harder (I know, this is in question). Clottey doesn't waste punches and will look to counter Cotto. I think the fight will be close, but Cotto will win a decision. Clottey doesn't have the work rate or extreme pressure to apply to Cotto. He could hurt Cotto, but I don't think he could finish him. And who's to say Cotto wouldn't hurt Clottey either? Anything is possible, although I think it's unlikely.

And I don't think Clottey will weigh-in at 175, he will probably weigh in at 150-160 like Cotto.

You have a point on stamina...but Cotto and Clottey both gas at around the 6th or 7th round mark....cotto even took a break aginst Jennings.

Clottey has a great chin...and Cotto will have to fast and accurate to land it and not get clocked in return..... I know Miguel will get hurt in this fight...its inevitable
