Cotto would have knocked Margarito's jaw sideways in the first half of the fight. If he knew his gloves were loaded he probably wouldnt have tried to box, just plant his feet and power punch. Would have devastated Margarito's pretty face.
Cotto would probably get a little bit more hate than Margarito. Margarito comes off as an everyman, nice guy, hard worker, not so much of a rockstar like Cotto. So I could see Cotto being hated on pretty heavily in the situation.
