Champbox is the exact type of fan I'm talking about. KO Paul?? Hahahaha. Cotto would get blown out in three rounds.
I get where you're coming from but aren't you doing the exact same thing as him except with your favorite fighter. We can't be complaining about biased fans because in the end fan is short for fanatic. You are a Paul Williams fanatic, so naturally you overrate his abilities as many Cotto fans overestimate his abilities.

Paul Williams lost to Carlos Quintana. Clearly he can lose, will lose again, and is prone to losing to lesser fighters.

So when should this fight have taken place?? And when did Mayweather duck him?? This is not a flame thread it's a fact stating thread. The fact of the matter is....Floyd would destroy him. So if the money was right, I am sure Floyd would have no problem beating down Cotto.
Right after Cotto beated Mosley and Mayweather KOs Hatton.

Yeah I'm trolling by saying Mayweather would school Cotto and that Paul would destroy him. You are trolling by thinking he has a chance in either fight. That Puerto Rican pride of yours is clouding your judgment.

Paul is fighting Winky Wright. A MW that Pavlik and Abraham both ducked. He beat Margarito, loaded gloves or not. Yeah, he learned a lesson in the Quintana fight, and in the rematch he showed what should have happened the first time. I am not saying Paul will never lose or that he is perfect. Winky is one of the best fighters in the world, he has a really good chance vs. Paul. But Cotto would get absolutely crushed by Paul. Cotto is what?? 5'6"?? He's heavy footed, and takes a lot of punches just like Paul. The size difference and reach would be waaaaaaay too much.

Your love for Mayweather and Williams clouds your judgement equally. Maybe more so. To say that Cotto doesn't have a chance against Mayweather and a guy who lost to a fighter Cotto absolutely destroyed ON THE FIRST TRY is more rediculous.

Cotto is 5'8 or 9 I think. So Cotto is not capable of learning lessons, but Paul Williams is?

What lesson did Paul learn anyway, don't lose to C fighters?

Nice response "Boricua"...what are you 15?? Enjoy acting hard online. Buzzard.

And dans...styles make fights do they not?? You think Cotto would beat Paul?? Say so then, and do me a favor and break down how. Oh let me guess. Attack the body right?? Hahaha. Paul fights better on the inside than Cotto does. Give me a break. He would knock Cotto's head into the third row by being outside of Cotto's range. It would look exactly like the 2nd Quintana fight. By the way, Paul schooled Margarito, and didn't fold down the stretch. He actually won the 12th. How did Cotto do?? Hahaha.

Cotto is 5'6"-5'7". He has 10 inches less of reach as well. Yeah...Paul learned do not lose to C level fighters. He also learned that every WW is scared of him, including Cotto. When has Cotto even mentioned Paul in a sentence?? How many times has Paul called him out?? Now Paul is fighting Winky Wright. Paul has heart, and does not quit, something your boy did. So bring up the fact Paul lost a close decision to Quintana, at least he hasn't been on the canvas before and taken knees and quit vs a guy he schooled.

I never said Cotto would beat Paul Williams. I rarely say anyone will beat anyone. All I'm saying is you are criticizing Cotto fans for thinking he can beat Paul Williams but say we're ****** when we criticize you for saying Paul Williams would blow him away. It's your opinion, I respect it, but don't think it's fact just because you think it.

I agree Paul did beat Margarito. Probably the worst Margarito I've seen next to the Mosley fight, but hey it's still impressive. Margarito picked up the pace at the end and if it was 15 rounds it might have played out differently, but yes Williams defintely won the fight. You excuse Williams for looking terrible against an average fighter, but Cotto loses to a top welterweight and he's ****.
